A general guideline for filter replacement is after 6 to 8 hours of continuous use, or if evidence of saturation or contamination.
Your fabric mask should last 25 to 50 hand washes, depending on use. The area to keep an eye on is generally around the nose piece, if it starts fraying or the wire begins to poke through the fabric then it is time to replace the mask.
Typically, our goal is to have all orders out the door within a 24-hour period; we ship USPS first class so you should receive your Mask Kit in 1 to 3 business days.
You should wash your mask when you first receive it and again if/when it shows evidence of saturation or contamination, or after 6 to 8 hours of continuous use. If you have more than one mask you can easily trade them out while washing.
Masks should be hand washed and allowed to air dry. They should not be washed or dried in a machine.
